It’s still a day or so away from the full moon. When I left town, the sun was about to set, and the moon had already risen. By the time I got to our gate, some 20 minutes later, there was only a pink blush in the eastern sky.

Early light
I left home early this morning to go swimming with a friend before work. She lives a little closer to town than us, so I picked her up on my way in. I was a minute or so early at our meeting place – the corner of her road and the main road – so I had the chance to enjoy and photograph the early sunlight on the paddock.
